Commission Process
A majority of my business starts with a client that wants a piece made just for them. A true handmade, one of kind piece, built with heirloom quality, that they can't find anywhere because of dimension, materials of construction, or design concept.

 

The commission process usually begins with a phone call or email. At this time, I begin taking notes and making sketches. These conversations usually take place in person or by phone, fax, and email. Depending on the complexity of the project, there can be a design fee associated with this part of the commission process. Once the design, materials, drawing and construction methods are finalized, I will send the client a contract that lists these details, along with the payment schedule, for approval. When I receive a signed contract and deposit, I am ready to go to work. Depending on the client's location, I will either deliver the piece myself  or carefully pack and crate the piece for delivery by a carrier.

 

At the completion of this process, you can enjoy and appreciate your custom piece for the rest of your life.
