Bio
I grew up in Hunterdon County, New
Jersey. I studied fine art for three years at Monmouth College
in West
Long Branch, NJ. After studying fine art, I decided to pursue his
passion for woodworking
and furniture design at Rochester Institute of
Technology's School for American Craftsmen.
Graduating in 1997 with a BFA degree,
I continue to hone my fine woodworking skills working with
renowned cabinetmaker Frank Pollaro. I worked with Frank for over
three years. After working with
Frank , I moved to Colorado and
began fulfilling my dream of building my own business. I started
my company in 1999.
Artist Statement
For one reason or another when I awake each
day day of my life I feel compelled to create. My
work is usually
derived from a vision in my head. The pieces that I create are
three-dimensional
versions of these visions. My construction process
consists of two major elements. One
element is loose and free flowing.
The other is tight and technical. The end result is an aesthetic,
functional piece that is a reflection of who I am and what I once
envisioned in my head.
As you look at a piece that I have created, you should
be drawn to the flowing lines of the form and
the unique design.
As you examine the construction. the level of craftsmanship will
impress you.
Looking
closer, you will see that every detail is
well thought out exquisitely executed. I strive to
create pieces that
will add beauty to home's interior. Creating custom furniture that a
client has
searched for or
dreamed of is the ultimate gift of my craft.
